How is it when you were thought you must give yourself self-respect and give others just the same as you would yourself but others don’t. I feel as a woman in this modern day and age we are like man we already get respect however their are times I feel and know that I most gain it from people form my own peers and most of own gender as the same age range just an age group. I look at myself and wonder am I a woman or just a girl to some females. For to be look upon as a girl I am not worth respecting and do not feel  to be existed in the same world as them. I am not regarded to be acknowledge as a person who something to look at not low as a pest . I am feeling low and worthless as a person if I can not  be a woman or lady at age of nineteen. As life moves on in progress the more and more I see this reoccurring behavior happen I am not approach talked or even looked at. Woman do this to be more ahead advance as a human being versus I who is nothing to all of them which is many in number. Perhaps I am not at the same league as others in life I suppose they are right to think of me that way. I am forever a girl who is not with the class and elegance and sophiscated with this moving world. I ought to give up and stay back and not try because it will not match up or meet up to what they have. I am not worth the hello, how are you doing my good bye was never a greeting in the first. I am not a woman not all not close to one and what I am learning the my women’s studies class only reassures my correct thoughts. I am not what you can call an ideal standard as a woman should I do have the capabilities to do so as a person. I am not with anything and never will be I feel I am being repulsive and vague in my biog but I will have a detail with one central fact: The age I am now does not fit the attracted age of around me I should not be respected but instead not be around other who are advance I have nothing to offer in the women’s world and most centrally the men. I to give in and let be and not be here anymore in the mist of you all. I will live with being their in the first place in the world. I will be under a rock and please sit down like nothing was under it because I do not know better as a girl and not a woman of the universe.

What woman want or need from the government and they give that to them by not ignoring issues on family sexism, equal rights, and economical socialism. “Connected to the issues two different women image-woman as a mother and spouse. The working woman image –woman working with man under equal conditions.”research concludes its finding three issues were common in the political advertisements of all political parties’ one hardship of life, health and social security and human rights form women wih the male domamant ruler.Briefly, on the one hand, there stands the demands of women from the society, the demands of women in politics, and the problems of women in regard to private life and society; on the other hand, politi­cal parties try to obtain the votes of women without converting the male hegemony in the political establishment. Although women were the political equals of men early on, it took a long time for Turkey’s political parties to begin to incorporate women’s policy needs in their pro­grams. The founding party of the Turkish Republic, the Republican People’s Party, did not have a clear and established women’s program. This picture did not change between 1945 and 1960. The Republican People’s Party and the Democrat Party did not adopt special policies for women. The absence of such specific programs can be explained by the argument that legal reforms are sufficient to implement full equality in social life.Because the number of the women deputies is still limited and the assessment of the woman voter is difficult, it is really hard to describe the real position of Turkish women in politics. However, the orientation of the political parties to incorporate women’s issues after the 1980s in their respective party programs keeps women’s issues hot on Turkey’s agenda. Beginning in the 1983 national election campaign, newspaper political advertisements were introduced and began to influence Turkish political life (Tokgoz, 1990). Political advertisements were also on television during the 1991 national election campaign (Tokgoz, 1991a, 1991b). Analytically analyzing these political advertisements should shed some light on how political parties approach the woman voter to try to obtain her vote.

Virginia Woolf’s concern with feminist thematic are dominant in A ROOM OF ONE’S OWN (1929). Woolf examined the obstacles and prejudices that have hindered women writers. She separated women as objects of representation and women as authors of representation, and argued that a change in the forms of literature was necessary because most literature had been “made by men out of their own needs for their own uses.” Woolf developed innovative literary techniques in order to reveal women’s experience and find an alternative to the male-dominated views of reality.Woolf’s reputation declined after World War II, but her eminence was re-established with the surge of Feminist criticism in the 1970s. Perhaps a mind that is purely masculine cannot create, any more than a mind that is purely feminine…” THREE GUINEAS (1938) I choose Virginia Woolf because it urge women to make a claim for their own history and literature. For centuries man had the power and right to tell a story and women let that be so but Woolf told women that man are not the only ones who can have that right.

When I was re-reading the novel The Bell Jar I  relaized a one of the major theme is feminism which Plath points out so well. The novel has feminist connotations; for example, when Esther discovers that her boyfriend had sex with a waitress over the summer, she sees the hypocrisy of the moral code of her generation (in that promiscuity in a man is acceptable, but in a woman it is not). In order to subvert the idealism that Esther recognizes as flawed, she immediately endeavours to lose her virginity as soon as possible. While a resident of the hospital, Esther loses her virginity to a professor of mathematics at Harvard (Chapter 19), near the end of the book. After, Esther experiences uncontrollable hemorrhaging, and is admitted to a hospital. Esther’s attempt at losing her virginity in order to undermine the existing social-moral mores about sex and gender is one of Plath’s statements of defiance against the codes of social and moral conduct for women.  

Pro-feminism refers to support of the cause of feminism without implying that the supporter is a member of the feminist movement. The term is most often used in reference to men who are actively supportive of feminism and of efforts to bring about gender equality. A number of pro-feminist men are involved in political activism, most often in the areas of women’s rights and violence against women.There are pro-feminist men’s groups in most nations in the Western world. The activities of pro-feminist men’s groups include anti-violence work with boys and young men in schools, offering sexual harassment workshops in workplaces, running community education campaigns, and counseling male perpetrators of violence.Pro-feminist men also are involved in men’s health, activism against pornography including anti-pornography legislation, men’s studies, the development of gender equity curricula in schools, and many other areas. This work is sometimes in collaboration with feminists and women’s services, such as domestic violence and rape crisis centers.The term “pro-feminist” is also sometimes used by people who hold feminist beliefs or who advocate on behalf of feminist causes, but who do not consider themselves to be feminists, per se. It is also used by those who do not identify with, or wish for others to identify them with, the feminist movement.

I can only image myself as a mother hopefully to have a husband and two kids and live in a suburban city with in a two story house and having a decent and content career in well who knows what I will be doing. I think a mother will nuture and take care of the children as will the father having family moral and religious values. I was brough up as a girl to be clean polite and to learn educational material as I got older I reliaze how important my family raise me to be the absolute girl. Prefer not to be in sports like the color pink instead of blue what the hey blue is going to be always my favorite. Learn to were dresses and skirts more often thenpants becasue man have own that type of clothing. The role of being a woman will pass on to me as amother and hopeful I can be a good mother. With the world changing today they will be a few changes from what my mom and dad did for me seeing I did not always agree on what it means to be a girl.

I beleive a woman president can run for the 2008 election which will be hilary clinton. I am a moderate so I swing votes. Who am I am going to pick I am not sure I am going to vote. I notice other countries have already have a woman president or a postion which acts like one and the United States hasn’t yet as a superpower. Woman have gone a long way since centuries ago. I would like to see a woman president I feel she will make a right president. I have not taken close attention on the issues from both political parties but the media it seems to attack Hilary Clinton who knows the objective on that is it just because she is a woman. Obama is black and is getting less attack on the media and seeing how blacks in history was treated who knows why Obama is getting less negative feed attention  fron the media. “Just because I am black. ?” – what a clique line to use but it can be a reason.

Medication Abortion
You should not have medication abortion if you

• are too far along in pregnancy
• are unsure about having the procedure
• are unwilling to have a vacuum aspiration if needed
• cannot return for follow-up visits
• do not have access to a telephone, transportation, and back-up medical care
• have a known or suspected molar pregnancy — one in which the placenta develops abnormally
• have severe adrenal gland, heart, kidney, or liver problems
• take any medicine that should not be combined with the medications used in medication abortion — methotrexate, mifepristone, or misoprostol
• take anti-clotting medication or have blood-clotting disorders
• are unwilling to have your IUD — if you have one — removed before taking the medicine

If a person is not willing to follow up with the above statements than it is nesscary for her not to get an abortion. I am pro-choice in the issue however I have to look at it from an irresponable person who will  not take care of themself and what to make a decision wihtout looking of what she has done before or have not done. After a center point in time it becomes to late to have the option of abortio. Some people will fight still for an abortion even with the above statments without thimking of the wrongful actions that will happen to her. Some females are like that and should really be talked and have a careful discussion about abortion it is not like buying a new house more of bringing a new life in thw world it is serious.
